Men's Fellowship Kick-Off

There is a lot of hidden talent amongst the men in our church family!  The guys enjoyed an encouraging evening of fellowship, bowling, and of course, pizza & appetizers.  The evening was a such a great kick off for the men, that there have already been requests for a repeat! MEN'S WARRIOR CONFERENCE

June 6th-June 8th, 2013


  During the weekend of June 6,7, & 8, the men of our church joined the New England United Network's Warrior Conference at the Waterville Valley Resort.  Hundreds of men from dozens of churches made the trek to enjoy the incredible resort amenities, a BBQ catered by the famous BONEYARD, and the inspiring guest speaker, Joe Boyd, who challenged us to consider what Christ tells us about being a warrior who fights for his family and his faith.  

         Joe Boyd is the Lead Pastor for Aviator Church.  In his last
         year of pharmacy school, Joe radically encountered Christ
         on a mission trip and nine months later surrendered to full-time
         ministry.  Joe graduated with honors and was ordained as a
         pastor.  He successfully led growing ministries in Texas and
         has traveled and spoken in nine states and two countries.  In
         Joe's third year of ministry he spent a year traveling around the
         country studying the fastest growing churches in America.  Joe
         went to seminary at Perkins and Logsdon Theological
         Seminaries and most notably was on America's Funniest Home Videos.

Men's Softball League

Forestdale Baptist Church is part of the Cape Cod Evangelical Church Softball League currently consists of 20 teams representing various churches located throughout Cape Cod. The CCECSL is committed to Christian fellowship among the churches on Cape Cod, and building and up-holding christian relationships among the many Cape Cod Evangelical Churches. The CCECSL plays a competitive style of softball that has a 12 game regular season schedule and a post season playoff.  We currently play on a combined team with Falmouth Baptist Church.  Games are played each Friday evening beginning in late April and concluding in mid-August on various fields on the Cape.  Because this is an adult league, you must be 16 years of age or older to play. Both men and women are invited to play.

Men's Service Project Day 

What a fantastic time! 

On Saturday, April 7th, over 20 men from the church came together and through several different projects, were a huge blessing to our community.  Splitting up into two groups, the men were able to reach far and wide.  In addition to sprucing up our own church property, eight area homes were also raked, mulched and freshened up for the spring.  These men put in a full day of serving the Lord and sharing God's love.                                                 

And to end this incredible day.......

Everyone gathered back at the church for a delicious
 Italian Dinner prepared by the families of these men.  It was a great day of fellowship and service to our community!

 a church family favorite.  
Food, Family, and Fun....it doesn't get much better than this!
